Birthday Greatness!!!!

OK! So today was my birthday! And I have never been a HUGE birthday person for myself... i always have drama happen and so on and so forth, so I decided a LONG time ago that the birthdays were going to be just another day for me and that was all there was to it.

Well this yea I did not even remember my birthday! That I guess is how unfocused I was about my birthday! I did not even remember how old I was turning! That to me is FANTASTIC!!!! LOL not so much to my husband...

But this year I made plans to hang out and do some Youth Even prepping on my birthday without even realizing. But it is no big deal because like I said it is not that big of a deal to me...

Well little did I know it was going to be a day of suprises...

I thought the morning started out good except for the fact that I really wanted to stay in my nice warm bed... but I got up, got a shower, went to work.... then I tripped over my heater cord and landed on my wrist on the corner of the wall.... BRUISE!!!! But nothing was broken so stay on the sunny side! Then I get a card from the loves at Stafford!!! and there was mini roses sent to follow... those girls are CRAZY!!!! I kept myself really busy as to not really think about the day. Before I knew it, it was time to go home!!! My favorite part of the day! Except for 290 traffic!!!

So I get home straighten my hair and get ready to head over to one of the Youth Leaders homes to do the "get ready stuff" for the upcoming event we have. Rachel made me a cake from scratch... that she herself could not even eat...! To me that is a MAJOR SELFLESS ACT!!!! And then gave me sparkly candles... which I became VERY light headed trying to blow out! And then presented me with a lovely cross pendant! I stole my huband's a while back and told him I would not give it back until I got one for myself. He tipped them off :) Thank you honey!

Then I got to watch HAIRSPRAY which I love musicals!!! It was a great night... great finish to a great day! Then I get home and Paul is not home because he is being a helper and helping set up the Berry Center for Easter Servce... But the bed is made and on my pillow is a hand made card... When we became best friends we had a saying..."as long as the sky is blue and pigs go poo I will ALWAYS love you!... (I went as far as engraing it on a pocket watch for him when we got married) I know we don have money but that was better than Hallmark because it is PAULMAK!!!!
